Multiclassing And Spell Slots

DD 5e Multiclassing Spell Slot Calculator

Multiclassing and Spell Slots

Multiclassing in Dungeons & Dragons 5e can be a great way to create a unique and versatile character. However, it can also be a bit confusing, especially when it comes to spell slots.

Spell Slot Progression

The multiclassing rules in Chapter 6 of the PHB cover spell slot progression. You determine your available spell slots by adding together all your levels in the bard, cleric, druid, sorcerer, and wizard classes.

For example, a 5th-level bard/3rd-level sorcerer would have the spell slots of a 8th-level spellcaster.

Spell Slot Calculator

This calculator will tell you how many spell slots you have of each level according to your multiclass. Simply enter your character's levels in the bard, cleric, druid, sorcerer, and wizard classes, and the calculator will do the rest.

Calculating spell slots is a little trickier than it might seem at first glance. This calculator will help you avoid any mistakes and make sure your character has the spell slots they need.
